Fair Trade Certified

Fair Trade Certified:

Fair Trade is a global movement made up of a diverse network of producers, companies, shoppers, advocates, and organizations putting people and planet first. Today’s global market enables—often encourages—compromise at the expense of farmers, workers, and fishermen. People stand with us to demand higher standards for everyone. Fair Trade USA enables sustainable development and community empowerment by cultivating a more equitable global trade model that benefits farmers, workers, fishermen, consumers, industry, and the earth. We achieve our mission by certifying and promoting Fair Trade products.

Maryland Department of Agriculture Organic Certified

Maryland Department of Agriculture Organic Certified:

The Maryland Organic Certification program is designed to provide assurance to consumers who purchase organic products that the products were grown according to the national organic standards. The Maryland Department of Agriculture is accredited by the USDA for compliance with the National Organic Program.

Rainforest Alliance Certified

Rainforest Alliance Certified:

The Rainforest Alliance is a growing network of farmers, foresters, communities, scientists, governments, environmentalists, and businesses dedicated to conserving biodiversity and ensuring sustainable livelihoods. We are an international non-profit organization working to build strong forests, healthy agricultural landscapes, and thriving communities through creative, pragmatic collaboration.

Swiss Water® Process

Swiss Water® Process:

Swiss Water® is the innovative craft of using pure water to gently remove caffeine. Our 100% chemical free process decaffeinates coffee in small batches. This means we can remove caffeine from very select amounts of Specialty Coffee. At Swiss Water® Decaffeinated Coffee, our commitment to a better cup of coffee goes further than decaffeination. By supporting causes that impact water conservation, as well as the health of the people and communities where our coffee is grown, we believe in not just taking caffeine out, but contributing to sustainable coffee production everywhere.

USDA Organic Certified

USDA Organic Certified:

Organic Certification allows a farm or processing facility to sell, label, and represent their products as organic. The organic brand provides consumers with more choices in the marketplace. The USDA protects consumer options by protecting the organic seal.

* not all products are USDA Organic Certified, use Swiss Water (R) processing, Rainforest Alliance Certified, or Maryland Department of Agricultural Certified. Products with these certifications will be noted in our shop within the product description
